Priorities and funded actions
Objectives
To foster the competitiveness and efficiency of the EDTIB by speeding up its adjustment to the new security environment
To foster cooperation in defence procurement processes between participating Member States and associated countries
To ensure timely availability of sufficient quantities of ammunitions to fill the most urgent capability gaps
Among financed actions
New cooperation for the common procurement of defence systems or variants of systems
Extension of current cooperation in the common procurement of defence systems or variants of systems
Eligibility
Be public authorities or procurement agents within the meaning of Articles 2 and 10 of the EDIRPA Regulation
Be established in one of the eligible countries: EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories) or eligible EEA countries (Click here)
A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted
Amount of the grant: up to 45 million euro (60 million euro if Ukraine or Moldova are recipients of additional quantities of defence products)
Funding rate:
7% of the total eligible costs (baseline)
up to 15% of the total eligible costs if the project involves more than 3 Member States or allocate more than 15% of the amount of the common procurement to SMEs and mid-caps
up to 20% of the total eligible costs if Ukraine or Moldova are recipients of additional quantities of defence products
