Digital Europe – Application Support in High Performance Computing – 2023

Objective

To etablish and four-year operation of a distributed Europeanwide high- performance computing application support service.

Priorities

• Priority 1: Development of performance analysis and benchmarks for selected applications
• Priority 2: Short to medium term support of selected applications or user groups (3-18 months)
• Priority 3: Development of guidelines for the use of EuroHPC supercomputers
• Priority 4: Collaboration with equivalent groups at European and international level on technical issues related to the support of application work
• Priority 5: Contribute to the development and improvement of the European HPC application support service by sharing lessons learned and providing feedback to EuroHPC on user needs and service gaps
• Priority 6: Customised support to the scientific and research community, public and private research institutes, universities, enterprises and SMEs.

Eligibility

• be legal entities (public or private bodies)
• be established in one of the eligible countries

• Total budget of the call: 5 million euro
• Co-financing rate: up to 50% of the total eligible costs
