Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To ensure the European network of Chips Competence Centres will be embedded in the European semiconductor ecosystem with strong links to other European initiatives
  • To maximize networking between existing European points of semiconductor knowledge and expertise

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To support the exchange of best practices among Chips CCs
  • Priority 2: To disseminate the activities of the Network
  • Priority 3: To promote the services of the Chips CCs, specifically addressing the needs of SMEs
  • Priority 4: To attract new users and support the engagement of industry and SMEs in the activities of the Chips CCs
  • Priority 5: To educate and assist Chips CCs in technology transfer practices, including IP management, where relevant
  • Priority 6: To define and monitor meaningful qualitative and quantitative KPIs for the European Network of Chips Competence Centres and for the Centres
  • Priority 7: To maintain an overview of specific specialisations and competence of the various Centres
  • Priority 8: To support matchmaking for specific competences
  • Priority 9: To facilitate access to services and training offered at national level to interested Chips CCs and other potential users
  • Priority 10: To support the organisation of community building events for users and Centres sharing similar interests
  • Priority 11: To support the connection of Chips CCs to relevant other initiatives, in particular to initiatives on skills and workforce development
  • Priority 12: To act as the first online point of contact for all information related to the Chips Competence Centres

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Digital Europe Programme (Click here)
