Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To ensure that EDICs have the access to comprehensive legal, operational, coordination and support
  • To contribute to the consolidation and long-term sustainability of EDICs
  • To enhance transparency, outreach and access to consolidated information on EDICs, strengthen links with society, the economy and European competitiveness
  • To support the Commission and Member States in creating a steady pipeline of new EDIC initiatives
  • To gather and generate evidence (data promoting EDIC results, quantified where possible) to support the analysis informing the future strategic development of a coherent and resilient EDIC ecosystem aligned with EU digital policy objectives

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU countries: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Digital Europe Programme (list of participating countries)
  • Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register before submitting the proposal
  • Proposals must be submitted by:
    • an established European Digital Infrastructure Consortium as a single applicant, or
    • an established European Research Infrastructure Consortium as a single applicant, or
    • a consortium which includes at least one established European Digital Infrastructure Consortium or at least one established European Research Infrastructure Consortium. The consortium can include other relevant private and public organisations contributing to the implementation of Multi-Country Projects.

Extensions are possible, if duly justified and through an amendment.
