Digital Europe – Accelerating the Best Use of Technologies – 2023

Objectives

• To establish and promote the widespread adoption of a Common European Reference Framework (CERF) for energy saving applications throughout the EU
• To promote efficient use of energy by effectively disseminating relevant information and guidance to consumers, end-users, and other stakeholders
• To foster sustainable energy use, bolster grid resiliency, and decrease CO2 emissions

Priorities

• Priority 1: An EU Energy saving Reference Framework that should lead to a standardised reference application that will be developed in close collaboration with energy providers and will draw from applications and services already available in the market
• Priority 2: The deployment of the EU Energy saving Reference Framework across the Union in close collaboration with energy providers

• This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
• Initial duration of the action: 24 months

Eligibility

• Be a legal entity (public or private body)
• A consortium composed of at least 3entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted

• Total budget of the call: 5 million euro
• Amount of the grant: up to 5 million euro
• Co-financing rate: 50% of the total eligible costs
