Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To nurture talents, competence and skills and to stimulate cross-border cooperation, mobility and innovation in the creation and production of European audiovisual works, encouraging collaboration across Member States with different audiovisual capacities

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Support for networking activities among audiovisual professionals to promote talent, foster co-productions, and encourage the distribution of European and international works
  • Priority 2: Support the activities of European audiovisual operators at industry events and fairs in Europe and beyond

Among financed actions

  • Markets (industry events, physical, digital or hybrid, focused on business-to-business exchanges among European audiovisual professionals, networks of markets, organised around a thematic basis or geographically)
  • Networking activites (activities related to different existing markets within and outside the countries participating in the MEDIA strand or activities related to the co-creation of series, leading to marketable and competitive European series)

Eligibility

  • be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • Creative Europe Participating Countries:
      • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
      • non-EU countries: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Creative Europe Programme

Applications by single applicants are allowed, as well as proposals submitted by consortium of at least 2 applicants.

Additional information

  • Initial duration of the action: maximum 24 months

Extensions are possible, if duly justified and through an amendment.
