Priorities and funded actions
Objective
To support projects that will translate, publish, distribute, and promote European works of fiction.
Priorities
Priority 1 : to strengthen the transnational circulation and diversity of European literary work
Priority 2 : to encourage the translation, publication, and promotion of works of fiction written in less widely spoken languages to increase their distribution in wider markets in Europe and beyond
Priority 3 : to help develop and reach a large readership especially young people.
Priority 4 : to promote and preserve the profession of literary translator, including the principles of good working conditions and fair remuneration
Priority 5 : to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the book sector by encouraging cooperation between different actors within the book value chain notably booksellers and libraries
Priority 6 : to provide support to Ukraine in the field of books

This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
Initial duration of the action: up to 36 months
Financement
Total budget of the call: 5 million euro
Amount of the grant:
up to 200.000 euro for single applications
up to 300.000 for proposals submitted by a consortium
