Objectives

Priorities

  • Priority 1: support activities carried out by national data protection authorities in Member States to facilitate the implementation of GDPR obligations

Among financed actions

  • Supporting activities carried out by national data protection authorities to facilitate the implementation of GDPR obligations
  • Supporting activities carried out by national data protection authorities to raise awareness

Eligibility

  • Lead applicants (coordinators) must be national Data Protection Authorities within the meaning of Article 51 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, with only oneapplication per Member State being  accepted
    Co-applicants (if any) must be
  •  legal entities (public or private bodies)
  •  established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
    • non-EU countries:
    • countries associated to the CERV Programme or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature (list of participating countries)

Other eligibility conditions:

  • the project can be either national or transnational
  • Applications by single applicants are allowed (single beneficiaries)

  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 24 months
