Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To help develop and implement local integration strategies as well as increasing the effectiveness of migrants’ inclusion at regional and local level

Priorities

  • Priority 1: to faster inclusion of migrants, making it more effective and with less administrative burden
  • Priority 2: to improve engagement and participation of migrants involved in the project at the local level
  • Priority 3: to replicate good practices and a methodology for the development and implementation of local integration initiatives and strategies
  • Priority 4: to improve cross-border cooperation between authorities and other stakeholders involved in issuing scalable/replicable good practices and a methodology
  • Priority 5: to improve cooperation between national and local authorities
  • Priority 6: to enhance visibility of the views and opinions of migrants associations and migrants at national, regional and local level

Among financed actions

  • Design and implementation of local integration strategies with concrete objectives
  • Trainings, including language learning and vocational training, workshops and mutual learning activities on good practice on specific integration topics
  • Volunteering, “buddying” and mentoring activities with concrete objectives
  • Training of cultural mediators or interpreters who will accompany migrants through the integration process
  • Creation of know-how and best practices on integration with concrete objectives that will be upscaled and disseminated through specific activities
  • Creation of rural partnerships that will work on concrete outcomes to ensure inclusion and integration of migrants in rural areas

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the call: 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be an EU Member States excluding Denmark
  • Be an international organisation
  • Be an entity without legal personality
  • Be an associations and interest groupings
  • Countries currently negotiating association agreements
  • Profit making entities and International Organisations can not apply as coordinator
  • A consortium composed of at least 5 entities, established in at least 5 different EU Member States must be constituted
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 40 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “AMIF-2023-TF2-AG-CALL-02-LOCAL”: 8 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 1 and 2 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs
