Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To develop, integrate and operate a pilot pan-European multilingual AI media infrastructure (a common backbone of reusable services, interfaces and interoperability specifications).

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Media Platforms coordination group for synergies and future scale-up
  • Priority 2: Core pan-European infrastructure backbone and interoperability
  • Priority 3: Onboarding and ingestion interfaces for media providers
  • Priority 4: AI-enabled media processing, reuse and access tools
  • Priority 5: Trust, provenance, compliance and real-world piloting for sustainable scale-up

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
  • Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register before submitting the proposal
  • A consortium composed of at least 5 applicants (beneficiaries; not affiliated entities) from 5 different eligible countries must be constituted.

  • Initial duration of the action: up to 24 months

Extensions are possible, if duly justified and through an amendment.
