Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To prevent and combat fraud, corruption and any other illegal activities affecting the EU financial interests
  • To allow for co-funding of training activities, including conferences, seminars, webinars, e-learning activities and staff exchanges, as well as studies

Among financed actions

  • Specialised training sessions
  • Conferences, workshops and seminars
  • Staff exchanges
  • Research activities and periodical publications

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies) which are:
    • national or regional public authorities or international organisations that can help to achieve a EUAF objective, in particular to protect the EU financial interests or,
    • research and educational institutes and non-profit making entities that can help to achieve the objectives of the EUAF Programme, in particular to protect the EU financial interests, and have been established and operating for at least one year
  • Be from a:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Listed EEA country or country associated to the EUAF Programme or country which is in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature (list of participating countries)
  • Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register before submitting the proposal
  • Only applications by single applicants are allowed (single beneficiaries; affiliated entities and other participants are allowed, if needed).

Additional information

  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 24 months

Extensions are possible, if duly justified and through an amendment.

Useful

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 1 million euros
  • Amount of the grant: minimum 40.000 euros (except for EUAF-2026-TRAI-03 – Staff exchanges)
  • Funding rate: 80% of the total eligible costs

You can apply for a higher project funding rate (90%) if your project is a ‘priority action’ (see details on the call document).
