Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To support the implementation of the Union disaster resilience goals
  • To achieve a higher level of protection against disasters with cross-border impacts or that may affect several Member States or eligible neighbourhood countries
  • To contribute to building new and developing further existing competences, skills, knowledge and expertise in civil protection
  • To strengthen knowledge partnerships between civil protection and disaster risk management actors
  • To support civil protection organisations and disaster risk management actors in integrating climate adaptation and resilience
  • To further contribute to raising preparedness and awareness

Among financed actions

  • The design, plan, conduct and self-evaluation of one full-scale exercise project

Eligibility

  • be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
    • UCPM Participating States19: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine (list of participating countries)
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted
