Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To promote exchanges between citizens of different countries, in particular through networks of towns
  • To develop sustainable networks of towns, deepening and intensifying their cooperation

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Encourage citizen engagement, participation and democratic involvement at local, national, and EU level
  • Priority 2: Raise awareness of the benefits of diversity, tackle discrimination, racism and exclusion, and support the participation of under-represented groups, including racialised people, migrants and LGBTIQ individuals
  • Priority 3 :  Support the active involvement of citizens, including children, in public life

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries :
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • non-EU countries:
      • countries associated to the CERV Programme or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature (list of participating countries)
    • be non-profit making towns/municipalities or, their twinning committees or networks, other local/regional authorities
  • Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register — before submitting the proposal.
  • A consortium composed of at least four applicants (not being affiliated entity or associated partner) from at least four different eligible countries of which at least two are EU Member States.

  • Amount of the grant:min 100.000 euros, max: no limit

The grant awarded may be lower than the amount requested.

The grant will be a lump sum grant.
