Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To build capacity of VET providers to strengthen cooperation between private and public stakeholders in the field of vocational education and training for demand-oriented and opportunity-driven VET interventions
  • To improve the quality and responsiveness of VET to socio-economic opportunities and social developments to enhance the labour market relevance of skills provision
  • To align VET provision to local, regional and national development strategies

Priorities

  • Priority 1: to contribute to the Economic and Investment Plan of the region, the Growth Plan and/or the European Training Foundation recommendations under the Torino process
  • Priority 2: to contribute to foster public-private dialogue and effective cooperation between VET institutions and the private sector

Among financed actions

  • Networks and exchanges of good practice between VET providers in third countries not associated to the Programme and in EU Member State
  • Tools, programmes and other materials to build the capacity of institutions from third countries not associated to the Programme

Eligibility

  • Be a legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be active in the VET field or in the labour market
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e., EU Member State, third country associated to the Programme, third country not associated to the Programme from an elible region
  • Be active in the field of vocational education and training or in the world of work
  • A consortium composed of at least 4 applicants from at least 3 eligible countries. The consortium must include at least one VET provider at secondary education level.

  • Initial duration of the action: 36 months

Extensions are possible, if duly justified and through an amendment of the grant agreement.

The grant will be a lump-sum grant.
