Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To promote policy cooperation and innovative actions supporting all strands of the Programme, promoting a diverse, independent and pluralistic media environment and media literacy
  • To encourage innovative approaches to content creation, access, distribution, and promotion across cultural and creative sectors and with other sectors

Priorities

  • Priority 1: encourage new forms of creation at the crossroads between different cultural and creative sectors
  • Priority 2: foster innovative cross-sectoral approaches and tools

Among financed actions

  • Feature films, animations and creative documentaries
  • Fiction audiovisual works, animation
  • Interactive, non linear fiction
  • Narrative video games and interactive narrative immersive experiences

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • Creative Europe Participating Countries:
      • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
      • non-EU countries:
      • listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Creative Europe Programme (list of participating countries)
  • Be established in one of the countries participating in the Creative Europe Programme and owned directly or indirectly, wholly or by majority participation, by nationals from such countries.
  • Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register before submitting the proposal.
  • Applications by single applicants are allowed (single beneficiaries), as well as proposals submitted by a consortium of at least 2 applicants (beneficiaries; not affiliated entities).

  • Initial duration of the action: up to 24 months

Extensions are possible, if duly justified and through an amendment.
