Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To conduct research on mobile migrant labour and the impact that assisting counselling structures can have on this target group
  • To monitor and evaluate existing counselling structures and their practices, as well as interviews with experts
  • To support the establishment and operation of a trade union-related transnational counselling network for short-term mobile migrant workers in at least 7 countries, potentially including candidate countries or other third countries

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To support the establishment of a single transnational cooperation project, initiative aimed at developing activities by a consortium of relevant stakeholders, having a significant and lasting impact on workers, companies, and trade unions
  • Priority 2: To facilitate mobile migrant workers’ access to essential information on their entitlements

Among financed actions

  • A study providing a systematic mapping and evaluation of existing counselling structures and their practices for posted and mobile migrant workers
  • The development or improvement of existing practices, working methods, information products
  • An advisory forms for the collection and dissemination of quality, user-friendly, and specific information
  • The creation and/or expansion of existing counselling centres, networks targeting mobile and/or posted workers
  • The provision of counselling services going beyond simply providing information, including tailored support and problem-solving for individual cases
  • The creation, development and coordination of a network for counsellors

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a social partner organisations at European, national or regional level
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be a non-profit making entity
  • Be: a NGO, a company, a university, a research institution, a SME, an organisation, a higher education institutions, a civil society organisations…
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: Norway and Iceland and EU candidate and potential candidate countries (Click here)
  • A consortium of at least three independent applicants (beneficiaries, not affiliated entities) established in at least two different eligible countries is required. The lead applicant must be established in an EU Member State
