The "EU for Health" program (EU4health) is the successor to the 3rd EU Health Program. It aims to improve health in the European Union, respond to the COVID-19 health crisis and make healthcare systems more resilient.

Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To strengthen the EU-USA collaboration on cancer, two technical working groups have been established, one focusing on pediatric cancer and the other on lung cancer. Each group is progressing in defining a demonstration project to enhance cooperation in these domains.

Among financed actions

  • Number of meeting minutes from online working group calls (state of play, progress, next steps)
  • Number of articles submitted for publication in scientific journals or conferences
  • Number of regular technical meetings with Commission staff leading up to meetings with EU and US leadership
  • Number of meetings with EU and US leadership on project progress
  • Number of meeting minutes and conclusions from the final project meeting

Eligibility

  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the EU4Health Programme (Click here)
  • A consortium composed of only one applicant must be constituted
