Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To reduce the burden of mental ill health through promoting good mental health and effectively preventing mental health problems across the Union
  • To contribute to reduce the burden caused by NCDs and communicables diseases and their risk factors, supporting Member States’actions
  • To enhance the quality and radiation safety of medical applications of ionising radiation in children, adolescents and young adults
  • To complement the implementation of the “Joint Action on Personalized Cancer Medicine’ led by the Member States, thus helping to reduce the burden of cancer both at a personal and societal level
  • To complement joint action on new networks of expertise on cancer and cancer conditions
  • To accelerate the safe deployment of AI systems in particular in clinical settings
  • To support the organisation of not-for-profit, Union-wide high-level science-policy-society events that bring together all interested parties such as citizens, patients, practitioners, scientists, policy makers from local, regional, and Union level

Priorities

  • Priority 1:  To reduce the burden of mental ill health through promoting
    good mental health (EU4H-2024-PJ-03-1)
  • Priority 2:  To contribute to reducing the burden caused by NCDs and communicable diseases and their risk factors, supporting Member States’ actions (EU4H-2024-PJ-03-2– a)
  • Priority 3:  To contribute to reducing the burden caused by NCDs and
    communicable diseases and their risk factors, supporting Member States’ actions (EU4H-2024-PJ-03-2 – b)
  • Priority 4:  To contribute to reducing the burden caused by NCDs and communicable diseases and their risk factors, supporting Member States’ actions (EU4H-2024-PJ-03-2 – c)
  • Priority 5: To enhance the quality and radiation safety of medical applications of ionising radiation in children, adolescents and young adults (EU4H-2024-PJ-03-3)
  • Priority 6: To complement the implementation of the ‘Joint Action on Personalized Cancer Medicine’ led by the Member States (EU4H-2024-PJ-03-4)

  • Guidelines, recommendations, targeted interventions to promote health, monitoring and management
  • Clinical guidelines, guidance, protocols, tools for specific exams, training

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the EU4Health Programme (Click here)
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different eligible countries are foreseen for the topics
  • Except for the topic EU4H-2024-PJ-03-7 : Applications may be either by a single applicant or a consortium (no minimum requirement)
