Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • LIFE-2024-CET-LOCAL: To provide local and regional authorities with the necessary capacity, integrated approaches and organisational structures to deliver and implement plans and strategies for the clean energy transition
  • LIFE-2024-CET-POLICY: To support the implementation of the main pieces of legislation in the field of sustainable energy, notably of the Energy Efficiency Directive, the Renewable Energy Directive and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive
  • LIFE-2024-CET-PRODUCTS: To improve understanding of the actual impacts of EU Ecodesign and Energy Labelling Regulations and facilitate the implementation of related test methods that reflect better product use in real life
  • LIFE-2024-CET-BETTERRENO: To develop and deploy approaches that bring actors, markets, frameworks and innovative solutions together to increase the attractiveness of building performance up-grades and to reduce the administrative, logistic and financial burden for building renovations
  • LIFE-2024-CET-BUSINESS: To support the clean energy transition and decarbonisation of businesses by strengthening national ecosystems for energy management systems and energy audits
  • LIFE-2024-CET-BUILDSKILLS: To increase the number of skilled building professionals and to create a thriving community of practitioners
  • LIFE-2024-CET-HEATPUMPS: To strengthen the enabling framework for the accelerated roll-out of high-quality heat pumps
  • LIFE-2024-CET-DHC: To further develop district heating and cooling systems
  • LIFE-2024-CET-PRIVAFIN: To increase the amount of private finance allocated to energy efficiency and small-scale renewable energy sources
  • LIFE-2024-CET-OSS: To support the creation or replication of One-Stop-Shops
  • LIFE-2024-CET-RENOPUB: To establish and operate regional/national facilitation structures to accelerate the renovation wave in the public sector
  • LIFE-2024-CET-PDA: To support project developers across Europe to deliver a highly ambitious sustainable energy project pipeline
  • LIFE-2024-CET-ENERPOV: To contribute to actively alleviating energy poverty and build on the tools, indicators and resources of existing initiatives
  • LIFE-2024-CET-ENERCOM: To foster the collaboration between local/regional authorities and energy communities
  • LIFE-2024-CET-SAP: To support actions from key commercial and non-commercial actors in the clean energy transition

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the LIFE programme (Click here)
  • The coordinator must be established in an eligible country
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted for the following topics:
