CREA – European Platforms for the promotion of emerging artists – 2024

Objective

To support projects aimed at promoting emerging European artists and their works, improving their international visibility, and facilitating their circulation. Projects should also improve access to and participation in cultural events and activities, enhancing audience engagement and development. These projects must be designed and developed to contribute to the implementation of the EU’s policy priorities in the field of culture, in particular the working conditions of artists.

Priorities

• Priority 1: Artists and cultural professionals: empowering the cultural and creative sectors
• Priority 2: Culture for the people: enhancing cultural participation and the role of culture in society
• Priority 3: Culture for co-creative partnerships: strengthening the cultural dimension of EU external relations
• Proiority 4: Culture for digital transformation: help the European cultural and creative sectors to fully take advantage of new technologies to enhance their competitiveness

• Initial duration of the action: up to 48 months

• Be a legal person
• Be a public or private entity

• Total budget of the call: 47.400.000 euro
• Amount of the grant: up to 2.8 million euro per project
• Co-financing rate: 80% of the total eligible costs
