Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To create more flexible and adaptive systems in terms of modes of operation and beamforming
  • To explore different frequency (or bandwidth) ranges while maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio
  • To integrate more functions, including internal computing capacities, while responding to the operational restrictions in terms of size, weight and power consumption and cost

Priorities

  • Priority 1: improved size/weight/power ratios through miniaturisation and system integration
  • Priority 2: integration of new technologies to increase the system’s adaptability to environments and operational scenarios
  • Priority 3: demonstration of agile and precise radar beam steering and detection performance

Among financed actions

  • Activities that aim to create, underpin and improve knowledge, products and technologies
  • Activities that aim to increase interoperability and resilience, including secured production and exchange of data
  • Design of a defence product, tangible or intangible component or technology

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 48 months
  • The grant amount will be fixed in the grant agreement

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • Be a consortium composed of at least 3 independant entities from at least 3 different eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 270 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic: 15 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 20 and 100%
