Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To address the needs identified by the Member States in the subprogramme Circular Economy and Quality of LIFE.

Priority

  • Priority 1 : To test the feasibility and effectiveness of setting up financial incentives such as reward schemes, deposit refund schemes, the use of postal services and/or systems calculating the residual value of small electronics and portable batteries for subsequent reuse and/or recovery

Among financed actions

  • Testing and measuring the feasibility and effectiveness of financial incentives for the take-back of small used/waste EEE and portable batteries in view of setting up a stakeholder platform

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 3 years

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  •  The applicants shall have a good understanding of sustainability performance of buildings and lifecycle assessment and experience of working with building certification schemes
  • Different building organisations can join forces to deliver this project
  • Ideally, applicants will work together with a wide group of stakeholders, such as architects, real estate developers, local municipalities and construction companies
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 3.2 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “Circular Economy and Quality of Life”:  1.3 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: 60 000 euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs
